World Land Air and Sea

 

            Isafjordur Iceland                                    Day 14                                     Sunday 10/8/2025

            After leaving Reykjavik at 1800Hrs we to the West Fjords Peninsula Icelands least populated                areas and one of Icelands oldest and was one of it's main trading post it has some of the                           country's best-preserved buildings, it is predominantly a fishing village it is surround by                          mountains on three sides and the sea on the other and it is at the end of the Skutulsfjordur fjord              which shelters the harbour in all weather.

           We did a trip to Dynjandi waterfalls which was just over an hour and through two tunnels one                    7Kms long and the other 5Kms.
