Qaqortoq Greenland Day 18 Thursday14/8/2025
Our second stop in Greenland was Qaqortoa it name means White Palace in Greenlandic another small fishing village but twice the size of Nanoralik with a population of about 3,400 and is the cultural and commercial center of Southern Greenland. Europeans were drawn to the site over 200 years ago with the lure of the wealth of marine mammals that thrive in the offshore waters in the summer.
