Day 27
Mount Isa to Camooweal
Leaving Mout Isa 10 00 clear blue sky and a warm 23 degrees not long down the road came across the Army heading east and in groups all the way to Camooweal where there was the last of the convoy getting fuel it was busier than Bourke St in rush hour. Went for a drive to the caves got 9 Kms out on a red dusty gravel road and decided to turn back as the road was getting to rough and on reading about them it was not worth the drive got back to town in time for happy hour at the local for a couple of beers and a yarn with some locals then back to the van for a feed of prawns for dinner.
