Saturday  June 8th 2013

Our departure from Prague to Budapest left on schedule, we stopped two hours down the road for a comfort stop it was then we had a little technical problem. The bus would not start. After forty minutes Joseph our driver gave a BINGO cry from the engine bay as the motor started.
Our next stop was for lunch and Joseph was told do not stop the engine. It was  then we  first saw how high the river Danube was.

Sunday June 9th 2013

Our day started with a city tour with the first stop at the Hero's square where I met my marathon running team.

We then crossed the river into Pest to get a view of Budapest from then other side of the river.

        Tomorrow it is of to Vienna  by bus not by boat hopefully the river will drop we are told our  boat is ready and should be in Vienna by Wednesday or Thursday.
