Friday 28th June 2013

Today it was the day we set out to see the island and of course drive the T T circuit witch is a great drive and most of it is on open road only time you have to slow down is when you come to the villages the when we got to Ballaugh after a walk around the new church cemetery and found nothing Val found Steve sitting in his car out of the rain he was cutting the grass but the poor man had no escape after a while he had to give her a name of the parish warden we had a feeling this may lead to something well all it proved was this is where the Corlett clan came from.

So it was back down the road to the Ballaugh bridge and the Raven Hotel that everyone knows or should known and a pint of Guinness.

Then on to Ramsay then back to Douglas via the coast tomorrow it is the 15 00 ferry back to Liverpool.

                                                 The sausage was bloody good.

Tuesday 18th June 2013

This morning we cruise to Wertheim know for its glass works, then back on the boat and headed for Miltenberg a old Bavarian town with some of the oldest \buildings in Europe had a little technical problem the ATM took my card and would not give it back and the bank staff were on lunch and would not come back till 14 00 hrs and as they had to come down from the second floor it would be 5 or 10 past before I would get it and we were to sail at 14 00 hrs and a good 15 minute walk back to the boat so it was up to Herbert to fix it which he did.
