Friday 12 May 2017 Day 19 Today we went into the East MacDonnell Rangers our first stop was Emily Gap just a short walk along a dry river bed but with very rich coloured red rock. The to Jessie Gap another dry river bed with very nice scenery and then to Corroboree Rock a very strange shape rock and then finished at Ross River Resort not much to say about that a drive back to Alice Springs and booked into the Big4 Caravan park and at five o'clock it was cheese wine and bickies on the hill at sun set.

Thursday 11th May 2017 Day 18 Today new missed sunrise again but our walk to Glen Helen Gorge was spectacular with the cliffs reflecting of the water, we then drove a short distance to a look out over the far west MacDonnell rangers our next stop was Ormiston Gorge and we did the Ghost Gum Walk witch even more spectacular then Glen Helen Gorge then to the Ochre Pits and then back to Alice Sprigs And Dinner at Bo Jangles Saloon.

Wednesday 10th May Day 17 Today we entered the west MacDonnell National Park our first stop was Simpsons Gap a easy 20 minute return walk then on to Standley Chasm witch was breath taking with its colour and sheer walls the onto Glen Helen Gorge for the night.

Tuesday may 9th 2017 Day 16 Today no photo stops just driving from Kings Canyon to Alice Springs booked into the Winter Sun Caravan Park a short walk around town and had dinner at the R.S.L.

Monday 8th May 2017 Day 15 Today was full on Val and I walked the rim of Kings Canyon it took us 4 and a half hours but worth every minute the scenery was something I think we will never see anything that will better it. And the ten hours sleep was well earned.

Sunday 7th may 2017 Day14 Today we left Yulara first stop the camel farm witch was very interesting showing how much the camel had to do in the Australian outback and the work the Afghan men did in in the outback. Then a stop at Curtin Springs for fuel and a photo stop at Mt Connor with our journey finishing at Kings Canyon for the day.

Saturday 6th May 2017 Day 13 We spent all day at Uluru (Ayers Rock) first we did the Marla Walk then drove round the rock and waited for Sunset

had dinner at Geckos Café in town.
