Friday 5th May 2017 Day 12 Today we spent at Kata Tjuta (The Olgas)first we went to Walpa Gorge walk,which was not a easy one but it was well worth it. Then we drove to the Valley of The Winds a easer walk. By this time it was 1600hrs and it was time to drive back.

Thursday 4th May Day 11 Left Cadney Homestead Roadhouse at 0900 filled up at Marla roadhouse and left the Stuart Highway at Erldunda on to the Lasseter Highway to Yulara Ayers Rock Resort Campground a total of 596km.

3rd May 2017 Day 10 Had the morning in Coober Pedy with George showing us around the town from the Greek Orthodox Church Serbian

Church and the Catacomb church all underground then to the golf club and finished up at the Opal mine with a tour through it as a mine as it was when working. Lunch then it was on the road to Cadney Homestead Roadhouse where we stop for the night.

Day 9 Tuesday 2 May 2017 Today was a quiet day just spent it looking around town started at the opal cave then to the catacomb church on the hill to Fays underground home and finished with a ride out to the breakaways to watch the sunset but today was not as good as yesterdays finished with a pizza at Johns.

Monday 1st May 2017 Day 8 Today was a big driving day we left Woomera at 0930 and headed to Olympic Dam when we got there only to be told tours are only on Wednesdays so we then headed to Andamooka a interesting place where opals have been mined since 1930s. Then it was on to Roxby Downs not much to see. Then it was back to Pimba to refuel at Spuds and head to Coober Pedy with stops at Lake Hart, Lake Gardner and a beautiful sunset driving into Coober Pedy a total of 609km.
