After the second longest time at sea Moorea to New Zealand came to an end we are now docked in Auckland New Zealand

Moorea is a small Island around 9 Km from Papeete Tahiti it has a regular ferry service, and a population of around 1800 residents with fishing and tourism the main industry, we departed Papeete at 0400 Monday morning and a shuttle service began at around 0700 and the last departing the island at 1530. We went on a bus ride around the island which was two and a half hours with four stops at places of interest including the now defuncted Club Med that closed down after 911 because of lack of business when the USA put an end to Americans traveling overseas.
