Good news we have been up graded to the top deck on the boat from Budapest to Amsterdam which has its own balcony

Well today we booked are next holiday to Europe Pargue to London departing Melbourne 02 of June 2013

Quito. This morning we fly to Quayaquil and seat on the tarmac for 30 minutes then on to Galopagos San Cristobel island airport.We have to board rubber duckies to get to the ship. First thing is a safety drill then lunch.

.In the afternoon we board the rubber duckies to the .information centre for a history lesson and a quick shop for Lens' singlets. Back to the ship for dinner.

Quito. Today we meet Kim,Steve and Pearl. We had a tour to 00 degrees There we had one foot in the southern hemisphere and one foot in the northern hemisphere.We then went on to a food and craft market for a look and see. On the way back we toured the old city of Quito.

20.3.2012.
We  fly to Quito the Capital of Ecuador with Sueanna and Ming. When we arrive it started to rain. It was last afternoon so off to Dinner at La Rhonda's Restaurant which we all enjoyed with a local singing group for entertaintment.

Today we had a private tour to the costal town of Valparaiso stopping on the way at a winery in the Casablanca Valley. Then off to lunch over looking the water.Where Len had abalone,king prawns, mussels, king crab and calamari.Then back to Santiago.We met Sueanna and Ming who will be with us for the rest of the tour.

Day 2. 19.03.2012.

After breakfast we took a train ride to Los Domenicos to see the old church on the hill .We could not go in because there was a funeral.So we look about the town.

After lunch we went to ski lodge to 3000 metres , while there  we saw condors.Then back to town for  dinner.

This was our first full day the 18th of march 2012 in Santiago we did a city tour and came across the changing of the guardsnot a big parade but it was quite good.

Hi all I have just pasted my Spanish Test I know I am 17 day behind but will try to catch up and keep you all informed, we are in Cuzco and leave tomorrow for Lake Titicaca in the morning.

Machu Picchu was somthing to see, you could take 20 photos in the same place and have 20 differant shots will try to catch up with what I have missed in the comming days.

Day 1    16th of March 2012

Depart Melbourne on time at 06 00 am got extra leg room seats,
Arrived Santiago 11 20 am on the 16th local time (01 00am 17th Melbourne time)
with a stop over in New Zealand for 2 hours that we did not know about.
Met our guide and transfered to our hotel the Radisson whitch is in down town Santiago.
Then went for a little walk around town there is a lt of art work around then a little nap in the afternoon.

It is  now only Ten day and four shifts to take off then 18 hours on a plane till we arrive in Santiago
